Presenter bio: Paleoanthropologist and Professor of Anthropology, Stony Brook University; An expert stoneworker his focus in on the role of stone tools in human evolution and the prehistory of Southwest Asia and Eastern Africa. His demonstrations of stone tool production and use are featured in numerous television documentaries and in the permanent exhibitions at Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
